Windows 10: Fun with Cortana

Mostly the standard funny stuff cuz 'she' sucks at performing the real tasks as of yet!

Hello Microsoft greetings..,

I just upgraded my windows 8.1 single language to windows 10 single language. everything going well but just one feature in this operating system is not completely satisfied is that cortana... Why India does not has this feature Cortana??? when do you guys
giving us this feature to have fun with Cortana. it is so unfair that not to have this feature it's not working out in
India. Please make this option universal there is a lot of fun with Cortana

Please help me.i live in nl but it fun to play with cortana. But with latest update (14157) she is not working anymore.

Thanks for making that video Edwin it sure helps those of us living outside the US that still have no access to Cortana understand her intended purpose & function.

There is quite a few things you have to engage, allow or enable before 'She' will work to her full potential, except in this build, which is frustrating because it worked 10 times better in Build 9901!
Oh well, better days a-comin!

Yeah, blurting that out over and over again is stupid; you can click on the mic icon or press *Start + Q.

 

Was interesting. Thanks Edwin for making it. How much 'training time' did that require. You think it will accept a German accent.

 

The 'training time' is kind of hard to pin point because 'she' seemed to 'learn' faster and more properly in Build 9901!
Also switching from the 'Continuum' UI to the 'Resizable' UI or Start Screen UI messes everything up. There is 3 or 4 search related processes that have to remain embedded in background processes and they don't when you switch back and forth. It's like 'she' has to learn all over again so I stay on the Continuum Menu UI.
Also, you yourself have to learn how to phrase your questions, apparently.
As far as the German accent is concerned, this may or may not contribute; I'm not sure though.

 

Thanks Edwin. Sounds like it is still a bit finagle. Long time ago I tried speech input, but that was also very tiresome for the training sessions. This must be similar.

 

It was only fun when you first get it to work. But it becomes so boring later on.
