Windows 10: Function/Action Keys Not Working

Hello,


After the Windows 10 feature update version 1909, my labeled function keys no longer work on my keyboard unless I press the function key alongside it. Previously I was able to press, lets say, my F12 key, which is labeled as brightness increase, and the brightness of my screen would go up without the addition of using the function key. So now to turn up or down my volume, refresh the page, turn up and down brightness, etc. I need to use the function key alongside the respective F key.


I have ran the keyboard troubleshooter, checked for further windows updates, checked for malware, and used device manager to see if there are updates for my keyboard driver but nothing seems to work.


I am running on a Lenovo Yoga 910-13IKB machine if that makes any difference.

1215N function keys not working?

Doesn't list it for the 1215N *Frown

Funny part all the keys work out of the box with Linux Mint, go figure.

Tried the one on softpedia, doesn't seem to work.

Any other model that I can take it from?

• Single Click on the file.
• Tap F2 ( Function Key).
• Then type the name and enter.

Found this. Would suggest Lock mode Enabled/Secondary needs to be enable or checked.
