Windows 10: galaxy A21 pictures don't save in clipboard. Message says incompatible format

Need to move 500 pictures taken on a Galaxy A21 phone to an Excel column from the clipboard. When I try to save the pic into clipboard, I get the message that the format is incompatible and cannot be saved. I thought the clipboard would save all files. So is the size too big or do I need to convert to some other format from .jpg to something else.

How to save a photo sent by e-mail in .jpg format?

If pictures are inserted as attachments in an email message, you can easily save them with the
Save Attachment feature. But when the pictures are embedded in the message body, we recommend following this steps to save embedded pictures as JPEG / PNG / GIF / TIF / BMP format from an email message in Outlook:

• Preview the email message with the pictures that you will save in the Reading Pane.
• Right click the picture that you will save, and then click the Save as Picture in the right-clicking menu.
• In the popping up File Save dialog box, open a folder that you will save the picture in.
• Enter a name for the picture in the File name: box.
• Click the Save as type: box, and select one type that you will save the picture as.
• Click the Save button.

Note:

• To save pictures as JPEG format, please select the JPEG File Interchange Format in the Save as type: box.

DEFAULT FORMAT OF PICTURES I SAVE TO PICTURES FOLDER

Thanks but that's the problem, the first format that's in the list is pspimage and if I open I go to my pictures folder, have thousands, and click on a picture that has a pspimage format it opens with PSP 9. What I want is that when I save a picture from
say FB the file format is Jpeg not pspimage and I have no idea what All Files really means.

Try the suggestions below:

• Verify where the pictures are saved when taking a picture. If it's in a memory card, verify that there is enough space.
  
• Change the memory used to save the pictures. If it's the memory card, change it to the C: memory.
  
• If when changing the preference back to the memory card it still shows the error, remove the memory card and reinsert it.
  
• If that doesn't work, save the files available on the memory card in a PC and format the memory card (the error may be related to corrupted files).
