Windows 10: Game bar capture doesn't record audio anymore

Game bar doesn't seem to capture audio anymore when using the 'record previous minute' feature. I have never encountered this issue before. In Settings > Gaming > Captures, 'Record audio when I record a game' is still enabled, and in the Game bar, audio capturing is set to all. I recently got a new headset specifically Razer Blackshark V2, using with the sound card that comes with it, and only after this I noticed that audio isn't being recorded anymore. I don't know if this is related at all, but I thought I should put this in.

I understand that you want to record the in game audio only and mute the audio from other apps.



You can change the game bar settings to record only the game audio. To do that follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows key +
   G to launch Game Bar.
   
2. Click on Settings (Gear icon).
   
3. Click on Capturing.
   
4. Under Recording, select the check box for
   Record in the background while I’m playing a game.
   
5. Under Audio to Record, select the Radio button for
   Game. (If you are still unable to get Audio, select the Radio button to All).

Game Bar capture not playing audio in playback

So I recently used the game bar feature to capture some gameplay I wanted for a video. I ended the recording and check to see if it was good, but turns out all the audio wasn't there. I checked my Capture settings, and "Game" is checked off under "Audio to Record", and I have used game bar to record this game previously with audio still in the video. Does anyone know what is going on here? Can I recover the audio from this capture, or is it simply not there and I have to start over?

 

Game Bar Capture: Audio Failed to Record

I recently attempted to record a lengthy screen capture (~2 hours) in a Chrome browser using Game Bar's Capture feature. I ensured only one window was open so that it would record the correct content, and I also checked that the audio device was selected properly
so that my PC's internal audio would be captured. Prior to recording, I ran a test using the exact same conditions and everything worked properly. However, after recording the real session, the video file that was saved has no audio at all when played back,
despite my test not having this problem and the fact that I was able to hear everything properly in real-time. I immediately ran another test without changing any settings, and audio was recorded properly in the same window that I had just used. Any idea why
this might have occurred?
