Windows 10: Game Bar Captures File Naming conventions

Is there a way to tweak in the settings or date/time region formatting to determine the default naming conventions of how game bar names the captured files?Recently I just noticed that Game Bar screenshots file names are now {game name}_{DD-MM-YY}_{timestamp}, with MM being the numerical month value. 01_12_22But previously, Game Bar screenshots file names had always been named {game name}-{DD-mm-YY}-{timestamp}, with mm being the month in shortform. 01-Dec-22Even the hyphen has been swapped to an underscore now, what gives? Is this the result of an update to game bar or windows?? I'd like

I truly understand that you are having an issue with Xbox game bar that is not showing any captures , let's work on this together for us to fix the issue.



Kindly follow the steps below that could possibly fix the issue.

Fix 1 : Enable game bar in settings

• Go to Settings
  
• Then click Gaming icon to continue.
  
• go to the Game Bar panel, make sure the option Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Gaming bar is on.

This is a pretty niche problem, but whenever i use the capturing feature of game bar (using 'win + alt + g' shortcut) the file names end up being really long and not very coherent.

Is there a way to change what the file names are upon saving because I make a lot of captures and its annoying when the full name doesn't even fit on my screen and I have to rename them all manually.

Maybe even make it so the naming is 'Capture1' and then increment?

 

Select some files in explorer and capture a list of file names

I want to be able to select a bunch of files in an explorer window, and capture all of the file names into a file.

So, I would select some files, like this ...




And then I'd choose a context menu item called "Capture these file names".
That action would deposit that list of names into a text editor (maybe Notepad or similar).

How would I achieve this?
