Windows 10: Game closing out apps I'm currently using.

Whenever I would load up any game whether it would be league fo legends, Warzone, Valorant, and Roblox. The game would close out all my apps that are currently in use. ie. discord, google chrome, Spotify, and task manager. And then it would act like it 'restarted' itself and would open up the apps I was currently using ie. closing out google chrome and re-opening saying something happened to the tabs and would give me a new tab. Games work when they are all closed, but it's annoying to have to start up all my other apps. Pc works just fine if I don't play any games. Please help.

Windows 10 Game Apps

Based on the error you've received, this seems to be due to corrupted Store cache. We suggest manually resetting the Store app from the Settings menu. Here are the steps:

• Click Start, then Settings.
  
• Select System.
• Select Apps & features.
• Find the Store app, then click Reset.
• Click Reset again to confirm.
• Restart your device so that the changes will take effect. Sign in to the app. Launch the game and check if the same issue occurs.

• Select All apps, and then find your game in the list. Check if you encounter the same issue.

We also recommend signing in to a different user profile. This can help determine if this is due to corrupted user profile. Here are the steps:

• Press the Windows button on your device or keyboard, or select the Windows icon from the bottom-left corner of the main screen.
• Select your account name from the top-left corner of the menu, and then select Switch account.
• Sign in with an account other than the one you were using.
• Restart the game to see if it works correctly.

can't close current tab in Windows 10

When I try to close the current tab, a dropdown asks if I want to close all tabs or cancel, even if I only have one "tab" up. I have to respond to this in order to close anything. If I chose cancel, the current tab remains, as one would expect. If I choose
close all tabs, no matter how many I have up, it drops me to the lock screen, and I have to start over. Using Cortana, I have to go back through the original steps to get to the first page of my search. I can close steps in the search box, but that doesn't
work for everything.

 

Unable to close Calculator app on Windows 10.

To assist you better, I would like to ask if the issue persists with other Windows Apps as well.

I suggest you to press/hold the left click button on the title bar of the calculator and drag the Windows to shrink the size of the Windows and check if the close (X) option appears. If the issue still persists, then suggest you to run the Windows Store
Apps troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on View all on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
