Windows 10: Game Controllers properties shows wrong device

I'm not sure how to even describe this but when I select the "Properties" of my Arduino the window that opens up is for my Razer Tartarus.I have deleted all hidden HID and restarted but that didn't make any difference/Any help with this would be appreciated..

Game controller ID settings

Thank you for the update. I understand your concern.

I would suggest you to look for the Devices settings in Control Panel and check if the game controllers are listed. If so, refer to the following steps to alter the settings and check if these are helpful in resolving your issue.

a. Right click on one of your game controllers and click Game Controller Settings. Note where in the list it is. If it is not at the top proceed to the next step.

b. Right click and remove all your other controllers (not the 360/gamepad) and let them reinstall automatically.

c. Once complete right click and check the list again and see if the 360 controller/gamepad is at the top. If so, give the game another try and see if it detects your controller.

If the issue still persists, restart your console and then try to reconnect your controller.

Xbox One controller working wrong

The issue may be related to the incompatible Xbox one controller drivers.



Please try the steps below and see if it helps:

• Press Windows key + R key. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click Enter.
• In the Device Manager, go to > Human Interface Devices > Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class .
• If you notice a yellow exclamation, double-click on the Xbox One Controller and go to the Driver tab, click on Update.
• If the driver is already updated, uninstall the driver and then reinstall it.

I would also suggest you check if the game is compatible with Windows 10.

Unable to use Game Controllers on Windows 10

When I plugged my controller into windows 10... it gave the sound of a USB device plugged in, showed power one moment... then was gone.

• I hit the windows key to bring up the menu.
• type controllers. "Setup Game Controllers" comes up. click that or hit enter.
• reset it. calibrate it if needed... test it and ensure it works. Most of the stuff is under
  
  properties.

It should work fine.
