Windows 10: Game crashing computer and I don’t know how to fix it.

I’m trying to fix my girlfriends computer. It has always been able to run Fortnite but now every time she launches it the game will crash and restart windows. This happens a few seconds after the game sits idle in the menu. Things I’ve tried:1. Restart and shutdown 2. Reinstall Fortnite 3. Reinstall Epic Launcher 4. Clear game cache 5. Run windows repair cmd prompts 6. Reinstall windows7. Made sure drivers are all up to date I opened her control center and nothing looks over throttled when I load the game. Utilization and temps seems to be normal when launching. If I need to export crash data

Gaming and Random Crashes.


Hi,

After some research and failing to find any solution i`ve decided to find help, have a gaming laptop (don`t judge me) and it used to work pretty well, until the latest Witcher expansion, i would be gettting a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION everytime i tried to start the game, some driver updates later and now i`m randomly getting the same BSOD so far i've tried.

• Updating GPU Driver.
• DDU the Drivers and do a clean install.
• running sfc/scannow

Unfortunately my internet time is limited and i couldn`t find any more steps.

Any help would be appreciatted, and sorry for the bad english.

I am game player.(sniper fury)in win10.but to day don"t opening game.or close after 2-3 secend.3 the back to last morning by recovery poin .but nothing

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
