Windows 10: Game download interrupted, can't delete the files.

Hello. I have total permission to download "Ark: Survival Evolved" through Windows Store.

The thins is: in the middle of the download, for some reason it was interrupted. Now I have a space on my disk alocated that I cannot recover.

Doing some research, I found out the location of installation was inside WindowsApps. Now I have a useless 94GB folder that I cannot remove. I can't neither continue the installation, the windows store doesn't recognize it at all.
So I have a 94GB folder I cannot delete.

I want to avoid a full reset on my machine at all costs.

C7 Interrupted Downloads - How to delete or cotinue

Having just discovered the answer to my own question I have recorded it herein in case other C7 users encounter the same problem.



a) view the list of 'Interrupted Downloads' by selecting 'yes' in the pop up window



b) press on any of the download files for 4 seconds and a sub-menu appears with options to delete or continue

If you don't want to see them everyday, you can remove their shortcuts from the games folder.

To do this, follow these steps:

• open file explorer
• go to windows folder
• go to start menu
• go to programs>games
• delete the game's shortcut from there by tapping-n-holding on the shortcut

Install game in Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the game I compatibility mode and check: Follow these steps:

• 
  Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
  ‘properties’.
  
• 
  Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
  ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 10 from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists
