    good day microsoft.


    I am in need of some help. I have an issue where specifically Resident Evil 3 is not automatically creating a chilren and parent file in the registry after loading up the game. I backed everything up and tried a couple things to see if I could get it to create one but I cant.


    Resident Evil 2 is there and shows. Also proved it works by deleting everything and it will auto recreate both files for resident evil 2 after launching the game.


    So I wanted to know if there is any way I can just create my own children and parent for resident evil 3 and point it to the .exe.

    Major part is i'm not sure on the rest of the reg edits. Specifically if GameDVR_GameGUID has to be something specific since they are different from game to game. But if its possible either you guys create one for me or let me in on how to just create one for the game itself that would be awesome! Thanks for your time.

    Game DVR

    Sometimes, a recording doesn't end correctly. When that happens, you'll need to restart Game DVR to fix the problem. Here are the steps:

    • Close the game.
    • In the search box on the Windows taskbar, enter Task manager, and then select that desktop app.
    • In Task Manager, select More details.
    • In the list of running processes, select the Broadcast DVR server (bcastdvr.exe) process (if it's still there), and then select
      End task.
    • Restart the game and try recording again.
