Windows 10: Game freezes then mouse click stop working

It started to happen a couple of days ago:


1. I'm playing a game using a controller and a headphone, both connected via Bluetooth.


2. The game randomly freezes but comes back. While frozen, the controller loses connection but not the headphone.


3. It eventually freezes for good and when I alt-tab out of the game, the mouse has a blue glow around it (I guess it should be because of the game).


4. The mouse movement seems to work fine, but I can't click on anything. Only the keyboard works.


5. Windows takes a long time to reboot but works fine after for a while.

I've tried with two different games: Mass effect Andromeda and Final Fantasy XV, so I don't think it's specific to the game.


Just removed both drivers using DDU, and installed old versions of both Intel and NVIDIA drivers.


Is there any way to track what's happening? Event viewer doesn't show anything that seems relevant.
