Windows 10: Game freezing On Surface Pro 7

This problem happens with every game I try to play on the surface, like HEARTS OF IRON 4, AC BLACK FLAG, NEED FOR SPEED, and now, Leauge of Legend, i go inside the game, the display of the game freezes, but the game is launching, like, i can click buttons in the game and do play the game, but all I see is a freezed frame, its like my frame rate is 1 per 6 hours, and i really dont know what to do, everything is updated, all drivers, the windows, everything and I really hate it, i'm just trying to play and its getting frustrating

Touchpad on surface pro 7+ is freezing

I have a surface pro 7 + tablet which is working fine, but quite frequently the touchpad freezes. I tried uninstalling the drivers but it did not help. I also tried with Microsoft Diagnostics Toolkit and with Intel Graphics command Center but nothing had worked. The touchpad is freezing if the tablet is plugged in the power supply or not. We have 5 or 6 Surface Pro 7 and 7 + at the company but only one has this issue. I also made a clean reset of the system but that also did not work. Is there anything else I can try?

I would like to ask for a few more details on this to further isolate the issue:

• Does the issue happen when the touchpad is left idle for a few seconds, or it would also suddenly freeze in the middle of using it?
  
• Also, when the touchpad freezes, was there several applications open or running having the device running with high CPU usage? or it would also happen even when no applications open?
  
• You mentioned that you also have other Surface devices that are working fine, have you tried testing the typecover from the other Surface devices that you have to this unit to check if the same issue occurs? Also, testing the typecover of the Surface having the issue on the other Surface units.
  

For now, kindly try to do this below:

Open Device Manager

Expand Keyboards

Check on all the items listed under Keyboards and see if Power Management tab is available

If it is, select it then uncheck the box for the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option and click OK

Do this step also for these items below:

Under Human Interface devices:

GPIO Buttons Driver

HID-compliant touchpad

Surface HID Mini Driver

After doing these steps, see if issue persists

Surface Pro 4 - Crashes / Freezes

The main causes observed so far are driver issues, so I suggest you to install and update all the drivers and see if it helps.

Download drivers and firmware for Surface

I would also suggest you to install all Windows update and check.

Follow the steps:

1. On the search bar type “Settings”.

2. Click on “Update and Security”.

3. Click on “Check for Updates”.

4. Read and accept the license terms, and then tap or click Finish if the update requires it.
