Windows 10: Game Issue

Hello all,

I apologize if this is the wrong section to post in as this is my first time posting a question here.


My question mainly revolves around the fact that lately after a Windows 10 and graphics card update that some games I used to play online through Steam just fine had stopped working properly. I currently run an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 and Windows 10-64 bit.


Now when I try to run games that I used to play beforehand I receive tanked fps and lag that makes the games unplayable. I have tried rolling back my graphics drivers, totally removing them and starting fresh and set my games to run at the bare minimum graphic requirements and still experience the issue. Since these games worked fine before on ultra settings and after all this troubleshooting I don't know what else I can do other than to nuke my whole system and hope they work.


Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

• What is the exact issue are you facing games? Is it a online game or playing through any app?
• Is this issue specific to any game?
• Do you get any error message while trying to play?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
