Windows 10: Game keeps minimising

My game keeps minimising but only for this one game any off yous understand why windows 11

Game minimising in Windows 10

I recently built my own PC over the winter season which I had an unactivated copy of Windows 10 on for about a week or two which was working fine. I then activated the software and now I seem to be encountering a problem where most games that I am playing
(mainly from steam) keep minimising at arbitrary times while I play.

I was following many of the steps from Game Keeps Minimizing: 10 Ways to Stop it for Good

Which claimed that following these 10 steps would "Fix" the problem:

1. Check GPU drivers
2. Kill background applications
3. Disable Game Mode
4. Disable Action Center notifications
5. Run as admin and in a different compatibility mode
6. Give game’s process a higher CPU priority
7. Disable dual-GPU
8. Scan for viruses
9. Update Windows
10. Show taskbar on all displays for multi-display setup

I have tried a few of these steps (1,2,3,8,9) with no luck! Just wondering if anyone else has had and found a solution to this problem, any info is appreciated.

 

Games keep minimising .

This problem only started after upgrading from Win 7 to Win 10.Three games are involved.Train Simulator, MS Flight, and Sail Simulator.

On Full Screen they all keep minimising to Taskbar every 30 seconds or so. I can stop this in Train Sim and Sail Sim by changing to Windowed Mode.The same can be done with Flight, but cannot enlarge to fill screen, and too small to play properly.

Have had a look at Task Manager, but so many things are running I would have no idea what to stop(or what is safe to stop) in order to see what task may be causing the problem.Have tried stopping a few things like Anti Virus, Adobe Updater,etc but to no
avail

Can anyone suggest anything. P .Alt+Enter does not activate Full Screen on Win 10

Yeah, TV is uninstalled now. still happening, weird thing is. one particular game minimised and I kept trying to bring it back to the top, black screen, back to minimise,

Eventually popped up in windowed, went to options, changed to full screen and was working fine.

closed the game and loaded it again, no problem.


ETA: Tried it with second game, didn't work (ArmA3) won't load full screen at all

Update:

Looks like, god knows how, "Samsung Magician" is the culprit, I turn it off or have it open and the games load, I have it minimised in the quick start, no load.

Hi, Cheers I am in the process of moving from AVG, thinking Avast instead.

As for the WarGame2.exe that is the game, I took the screen grab while it was in it's "minimised" state.

Looks like Samsung Magician is the cause of this, weird?

looks like I am not the only one.

Weird, I never had this problem before (had the software for ages)
