Windows 10: game launching on its own every ~20 mins after launching it today for a little bit

i launched and played immortyls fenyx rising for about an hour through xbox game pass thismorning, and since closing it, it has been randomly launching the game every ~20 minutes or so, and im not sure why.

Games won't launch and run in background.

• What exactly do you mean by games does not run in the background?
• Which are the games you are trying to launch?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error notification while trying to launch the game?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

I would like to inform that the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x86,
usually occupy 1 GB of the storage space.

I suggest you to run disk cleanup to free the memory: Free up drive space in Windows 10
and check.

Game Launch Issues

Hi Shantal, thanks for your reply and your suggestions!

Unfortunately, none of these steps worked for me. I may reach out to the game developers for their thoughts but I am confident there are no hardware compatibility issues because I am able to launch the games as long as I do so immediately after booting up, and I can play the games for hours without any issues. For the same reason, I am confident that reaching out to any PC component manufacturers would not be fruitful.
