Windows 10: Game not installing - error 0x80070005

I had an issue with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide where the Xbox app was not showing any of my games, and the Microsoft Store app showed the game, but pressing "open" did nothing. I have previously been fine installing and playing the game. I think there was meant to be an update, but that stalled / never happened. I spent about 4 hours trying all sorts of things. Reinstalled the Xbox app at least 5 times, repaired, reset every app I could, including Games Services, reinstalled Games Services through the command line... Nothing worked. It reached a point where I couldn't even uninstall the game s
