Windows 10: Game not working because of a video memory problem?

Hi. I was trying to play a game on my windows 10 laptop and it was working perfectly until today, where a gaming UI thing popped up and said "out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure that your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."I closed every other app I had open and lowered the resolution as much as I could but still nothing.The game says it needs 2.0 GB of video memory, and my computer has 2.0 GB of video memory so I have no idea what the problem is.Please help

Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.

Memory issues

Thank you for updating us. We suggest that you run the Memory Diagnostics Tool, this is to check your system for memory problems. Follow the steps below:

• Open Control Panel and type memory in the search bar.
• Click on Diagnose computer memory problems to open it.
• If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  

Let us know the status of the issue.

I suggest you to stop the game from the Task Manager and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic.

Follow the below steps to run Windows Memory Diagnostic:

  Type memory diagnostic in the search bar and click on the

  Click on Restart now and check for the problems (Recommended).
