Windows 10: Game Pass Freezing Games on Sign In

Okay, so I just recently got Xbox Game Pass and installed Age of Empires Definitive Edition because that game was my childhood and I was looking forward to playing it. However, it freezes every single time I try to start it. Normally right on the first loading screen, I cannot even make it to the main menu.


Now I tried it without being signed into Xbox Live, and it loads to the main menu. Unfortunately I cannot play the game, even single player modes, while not being signed in and when I sign in it freezes automatically and crashes. Anyone have a workaround or an actual fix?
