    Gamebar connecting to suspicious IP

Recently I was checking ports in the Resource Monitor, I noticed that "Gamebar.exe" was at port 80 listening for the following IP: "72.21.91.29".I seen many people flag this IP as malicious and other people state that is benign and related to the certificate system. So, is this behavior ordinary or possibly harmful?

    Gamebar connecting to suspicious IP

Hello ! I'm Aymeric, and I'm here to help !

The IP you're refering to points to EdgeCast, a CDN (Content Delivery Network) used by Microsoft Azure, which is Microsoft's cloud service.

Given the fact that Azure is used by the Xbox network to run services like friends, groups, game downloads... There's no need to worry.

Feel free to ask if you have any other question !

    Gamebar process problem

Yeah, Like many people here have commented I have disabled everything in relation to Windows Game mode, gamedvr and gamebar in the settings menu. When that failed to fix the issue, I disabled everything in the registry in relation to game mode, gamedvr and
gamebar. That stupid gamebar presence process was still there. Then I used powershell to remove the xbox app. Still there. It only started doing this today. Please get rid of this crap and give me back control over what runs on my own computer.

    Thanks.
