Windows 10: games and few other programs dont work after upgrade

i upgraded to windows 10 from 7 install went smooth but once it was done some of my games will no longer launch. i tried everything i could think of updated drivers but no help.

for now i reverted back to windows 7 which to me is a better OS anyways but since support is ending i need to get 10 to work with all my stuff.

any idea's to try that i might have missed?

• What do you mean by “it just to big to appear on the screan”?
• Is this issue specific only with Glory of Generals game?

I suggest you to install the Glory of Generals game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right-click on the setup file of the game and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

4. Let the game run and then check the functionality.

My keyboard and mouse dont work when i start any program or game

Experiencing issues with your mouse and keyboard while starting a program or a game could be due to incompatible settings or having outdated device drivers.

By the way, were there any changes performed or updates installed on your computer prior to the issue? Does it happen regardless what program or game is being started?

In the meantime, I would suggest that you run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. Here's how:

• Click Troubleshoot.
• Under Troubleshoot, look for and click Hardware and Devices.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

I suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Windows Store Apps.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to reset the Windows store and check if it works.

Follow the below steps to reset the Windows Store:

1. Press Windows key + R from the
Desktop and click on Enter.

2. Type wsreset.exe and click on OK.
