Windows 10: Games and Firefox suddenly crashing, sometimes the whole PC too.

A few months ago, I got a new high-end PC and until yesterday evening I'd never had any problems. Since then, after a few minutes of gaming ranging from 5 to 15 minutes, the games quit abruptly even though they are running perfectly. The computer doesn't overheat, everything seems normal. I've carried out an "in-place upgrade" of Windows 11, but the problem persists. The BIOS is up to date, the drivers too, Windows doesn't offer me any updates... Last night, my computer forced reboots twice blue screen appears and warns of a reboot. My antivirus reports no malware. My configuration is as

Add-Ons for Firefox crash since update to 80

I left Firefox open over night and attempted to login to LastPass this morning - all the addons crashed. I had Firefox Task Manager open at the time and before attempting the login all addons were in the list and not using very much resources. After attempting login, all of the addons disappeared from the Firefox Task Manager list.

I will try the additional suggestions.

If I want to try a new profile without losing my saved/sync profile (and hopefully with the option of syncing my data back into the new profile) what steps should I take? Or is it just a given that if it is profile corruption, the sync profile is junk...?

Firefox crashes non-stop!!!

Suggest any methods to stop Firefox from crashing. It crashes right after starting, no more than a second or 3..

Any cache, plugins, antivirus things that might cause it? It is very, very annoying...

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
