Hi,I don't want my games to be saving to the onedrive folder, partly because I don't want files being uploaded to the cloud but also for general housekeeping of my PC folders.It seems a lot of games have default save location to C;/Users/User/Onedrive/Documents, so when I deleted the folder and uninstalled the folders reappeared again once I saved.Is there something I can change so saved games save to the C;/Users/User/Documents, rather than the onedrive one?Or is the only solution to this to change the default save location manually for each game?

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

The files are being saved on the OneDrive folder because OneDrive changes the Documents folder location. Open the folder, right-click in a blank area > Properties > Location tab > Restore Default > OK.

This will restore the Documents folder location to C:\Users\YourUserName\ Documents.

 

are C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Documents and C:\Users\myname\Documents the same location?

are C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Documents and C:\Users\myname\Documents the same?

why or why not? New Windows 11 PC and I'm completely confused by OneDrive ..

can't find anything I save a second time .. I think i'm creating two copies of everything.

can I just delete it (OneDrive) and start over never using it again?

IF SO , do I create then a c:\Users\myname\Documents folder ?
