Hi,I don't want my games to be saving to the onedrive folder, partly because I don't want files being uploaded to the cloud but also for general housekeeping of my PC folders.It seems a lot of games have default save location to C;/Users/User/Onedrive/Documents, so when I deleted the folder and uninstalled the folders reappeared again once I saved.Is there something I can change so saved games save to the C;/Users/User/Documents, rather than the onedrive one?Or is the only solution to this to change the default save location manually for each game?

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

The path <C:\Users\myname\Documents> is not used if you use Onedrive, as Onedrive syncs the documents folder.

Using Onedrive is recommended as it allows you to save files and rescue in case of a computer failure.

You are not creating 2 copies, they are just syncing to Onedrive.

I am trying to move my WIndows 11 Documents Folder from c:\users\appro\OneDrive\Documents to c:\users\appro\Documents

I did manage to copy all the folders from c:\Users\appro\OneDrive\Documents to c:\Users\appro\Documents successfully.

And I see when the files are updating they are only updating now in the Local Folder. They are not updating any more in the OneDrive folder.

The only exception is for my Outlook 365 PST folders. They are still saving in the c:\Users\appro\OneDrive\Documents\Outlook folder. How can I fix it so the Outlook PST folders are now saving in the Local Folders as well.?
