    Games are crashing to "outdated drivers" despite having latest drivers installed.


    For about a year now my PC has been crashing due to "outdated drivers" on games like spider-man and red dead redemption 2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers countless times and have updated to windows 11. I recently upgraded by GPU from a 1660 ti to 3060 in hopes of fixing the problem but it still persists. Games run at around 60 fps on high 1440p, then crash unexpectedly with a driver related error. During heavy load my system normally runs at around 75C.CPU: Ryzen 5 2600GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2x 12G OC not overclockedRAM: Corsair Vengeance 4x4 GBPSU: EVGA 750 Gq, 80

    windows 10 mcpc drivers outdated

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    I would suggest you download latest drivers from Manufacturer's Website.

    Follow the steps to update the drivers:

    • Press Windows key + X key and click on
      Device Manager.
    • Expand respective driver. (The driver which was stated to be outdated.)
    • Right-click on the driver and
      select Uninstall.
    • Now, go to the Manufacturer's Website and download the latest driver.
    • Once the download is complete, run the setup file and install the software.
    • Follow on-screen instructions.
    • Restart the computer and check

    What Drivers To Install

    Even though I purchased Windows 7 about two weeks ago, I have not installed it yet. I just want to make sure I install all of the correct things. So, I should have to install
    • latest Intel Chipset Driver
    • latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager (is this the only RAID thing I have to install?)
    • latest Soundmax ADI Audio Driver
    • latest Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver
    • latest Marvell SATA driver
    • latest ATI CCC and Driver
    • Windows 7 should install the hyperthreading driver by itself right? Vista did.

    Realtek driver outdated

    i installed the latest realtek drivers and crysis 2 lasted longer but ultimatly crashed. i think the games not optomized properly for custom resolution, found this to be the case in metro 2033 as well. thank you for your quick response.
