Windows 10: Games aren't launching

I got a game called WorldBox off of Humble Bundle. I know it's a legit game because it has an enormous community. It would launch. I've installed and reinstalled the game around 10 times now. I've excluded it on my antivirus software McAfee, I've run as administrator, I've asked Discord about it, I've tried to run it as 32 bit and 64 bit, I've reinstalled the launcher 4 times, and every single time, without fail, my cursor does the little blue wheel for about 2 seconds and NOTHING HAPPENS. I went into Task Manager to see if it even starts to run, and the application of WorldBox doesn't. But

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly






The native apps from the system are all showing this strange square instead of the normal icons. Please help resolve this problem. Thanks

 

Games won't launch and run in background.

Please do let us know with the following information for better assistance:

• What exactly do you mean by games does not run in the background?
• Which are the games you are trying to launch?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error notification while trying to launch the game?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

I would like to inform that the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x86,
usually occupy 1 GB of the storage space.

I suggest you to run disk cleanup to free the memory: Free up drive space in Windows 10
and check.
