  1. Games being minimised by unknown/rogue process

HelloSo, the past 7/8 weeks, I’ve been trying to track an issue to no avail, which causes a cmd prompt to flash up for a split second, minimising games, before disappearing without a trace. I downloaded a process logger to try and catch what is causing it, which lead me to a couple of very odd results. One of the processes that flags up is MsMpEng, which is obviously related to Windows defender, so I tried deactivating WD and test, which produced no different result. Another process which popped up is “dwfvbhv” which when I hit properties listed it as a “.net assembly registration utility” but

  2. Game minimising in Windows 10

I recently built my own PC over the winter season which I had an unactivated copy of Windows 10 on for about a week or two which was working fine. I then activated the software and now I seem to be encountering a problem where most games that I am playing
(mainly from steam) keep minimising at arbitrary times while I play.

I was following many of the steps from Full-screen game keeps minimizing? This is how to fix it

Which claimed that following these 10 steps would "Fix" the problem:

    1. Check GPU drivers
    2. Kill background applications
    3. Disable Game Mode
    4. Disable Action Center notifications
    5. Run as admin and in a different compatibility mode
    6. Give game’s process a higher CPU priority
    7. Disable dual-GPU
    8. Scan for viruses
    9. Update Windows
    10. Show taskbar on all displays for multi-display setup
I have tried a few of these steps (1,2,3,8,9) with no luck! Just wondering if anyone else has had and found a solution to this problem, any info is appreciated.

    Random explorer process causing minimising

When I have a game in fullscreen every 5-10 minutes it will randomly minimise.

I used a program that logs all programs that open, and it showed the program that made it minimise was explorer. When it is minimised there is no explorer window open. I really need this to stop. Any ideas/solutions?

    Games minimising to desktop randomly

Has anyone encountered an issue where games minimise to your desktop randomly?

I've done everything i can think of and have tried most suggested things online. the only way I've managed to resolve the issue briefly is when i re-install windows. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The problem occurs in full-screen applications and is really frustrating even though the games are running perfectly.

My Specs are - Win 10, i3-9100, gtx 1660 ti, 16 gb ram.

I am trying to run the games on borderless which is fine but the sound and mouse drop out at random intervals.
