    Games crash on my PC


    Games seem to keep crashing in my PC.My friend helped me build my PC around 2018, and for the first few years everything worked smoothly. However, over time I've noticed many games were crashing, and I thought it was an issue with the games themselves, but it's becoming clear that's not the case. I've already tried reinstalling Windows, formatting the pc, updating my graphics card driver, and running Furmark with no issues. I'm trying to play Wasteland 3, and it crashes in full-screen mode but not in windowed mode. The event viewer shows the following error message: Faulting application name:

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    PC Crashing on every game Games crash on my PC :(

    OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

    Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin Games crash on my PC :D
