Windows 10: Games crashing consistently, no error messages or any other issues.

Starting about 3 or 4 days ago almost every game I play will run flawlessly until a random crash or freezing issue occurs. When this happens I have to close and restart the application and 9/10 the app runs perfectly for a time until it happens again. I cannot find any issues with my hardware temps, voltage, power draw, etc that would cause the issue and I am at a loss of where to look/how to diagnose Every driver I could think of says its up to date, windows is up to date, I have verified game files on basically everything and they are good. I did a different scan I unfortunately cannot rem

• Is this issue specific to any game?
• Do you get any error message while trying to play?

Consistent Application Crash Playing Games

Hi there!

I am running into a continuous error playing games on my PC. After playing normally for 2-10 minutes the game will crash suddenly. I have tried many things on this website including uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, rolling back to earlier driver versions. This is a consistent error message I receive:

The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\00000082

Error occurred on GPUID: 100

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

Any ideas?

 

Games are consistently crashing.

My current setup is as follows:

CPU: i7-6700k (Cooled by Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO)

GPU: MSI Seahawk 1070

Motherboard: Asus Z270-A Prime

Ram: 24G 2400hz DDR4 GSkill

PSU: EVGA 500B

HDD/SSD: 1TB WD BLUE/1TB Samsung 860 EVO

My pc has started to run into a problem where while playing games, they crash consistently with no error codes. My reliability checks are all showing that it could be either a driver or hardware issue but thus far I haven't found a single solution. I did
a fresh install of Win 10 on my computer to clear it of any junk and the problem continues over. Also my PC has had some sporadic issues with complete crashes. These happen much less frequently than the game crashes. Running the games on low settings also
doesn't fix any of the crashing problems I'm having. I've monitored the CPU/GPU temps and have maxed out both the cooling systems on them but the problem still persists. I thought it could be a problem with my CPU but I bench marked it and it scored higher
than average. Anyone have any idea of what might be causing these crashes?
