Games have significant FPS drops when I plug in my laptop at low battery

Whenever I plug in my laptop when battery is low, if I'm playing a game Minecraft, Valorant, TF2, etc, my fps will drop from 60-90 down to 0-30. I've tried methods I've seen on this forum like editing my power plan to maximise performance, but nothing has worked.I do not face this problem when my laptop has high or full battery and is kept charging, but due to a faulty charger sometimes it disconnects itself even while plugged in, and I don't realise until my battery's drained to critical levels. My laptop specs:Intel Core i7 10th GenNVIDIA MX25012GB RAM 4GB + 8GBSSD 474GBWindows 11

  2. Significant FPS drops in games since last week.

I have a laptop running Win 11 for a year.

I have been using it for occasional gaming without any problems, the performance was always decent and very stable (when plugged in). Since last week I have been getting significant FPS drops. The same games that used to run with 50-60 fps are running with 5-25. The specs are: 16Gb RAM, intel i5 11th gen, iris xe integrated graphics and an nvidia geforce MX450 and 1TB SSD. So safe to say, there is a very noticable issue with performace.

I haven't changed anything that could explain this, I even tried updating the drivers for the cards with no luck. I honestly think it might be a windows problem since I got a windows security update a couple days before I noticed the problem.

Laptop battery switching between plugged in and battery while playing games.

Thank you for the advice. My laptop has indeed stopped that behaviour. However, it appears that my laptop is only performing at on battery levels, no matter what. Normally when you plug in your device when playing games, your laptop is supposed to get higher fps. However, no matter whether my laptop is plugged in or on battery, the fps levels are still the same. I only get about 60fps now. Sometimes when I just started to launch the game, I still receive my usual 120fps. But, as I continue to play, the fps drops to 60. I have tried plugging my laptop in and taking the charger out to compare the fps and it still receives the same fps no matter what. How can I possibly fix this and make my laptop perform like it should when plugged in?

Fps drops in-game after few hours

Hey, I'm otiwala. I'm using a Lenovo L340 gaming laptop 1TB storage. I play valorant everyday and recently I upgraded to Windows 11 and now I'm facing a problem that my fps everytime drops from 120fps to 40-50fps. I have tried multiple things like changing driver settings, in-game settings, changing power plan, etc.

I bought this laptop just like a year ago and when I started playing the game after few months using the laptop I was facing the same fps drop issue but resolved it by plugging in the charger to get higher fps while in match and use to plug the charger out during loading screen or match lobby.

I'm repeated evey step currently after upgrading to windows 11 but nothing is working . Please if someone can help me through this and give me an exact solution I would be grateful!
