Windows 10: Games keep crashing after 15 or so minutes

Hey so I don't know how to solve this, please help. my game crashes after 15 minutes

I just bought a new lap top with Intel Core I7=6500 2.5 GHz processor, 16 GB RAM, NVidia GeForce 940M Graphics card, and Windows 10 operating system. I installed Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition onto this computer. It runs perfectly
for 15 minutes and then abruptly stops and gives the message: "Star Wars The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition has stopped working. A problem has caused Star Wars The Force Unleashed to stop working correctly and will notify you if there is a solution."
or something to that effect. I have uninstalled and re-installed it, I have run it in every compatibility mode for the game from Windows Vista Service Pack 2 to Windows 8 and it still crashes after 15 minutes of very smooth and beautiful game play. Is there
a fix for this and if so how can I fix it?

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Sea of thieves crashes after 15 minutes or 30 minutes

The game is closing for me and some friends and we literally set a timer for it, it crashes in 15 minutes almost everytime, and some time in 30 minutes and we have tried a lot of solutions like the Windows Powershell, checking the graphics, playing alone
or coop, and we always get kicked and the game is unplayable like this, we want to know the solution or at least know if they are working on it because we have been playing since the game start waiting every day for this issue to get fixed. We havent encounter
another issues like the "beard" kind issues but like now the game is unplayable for us.
