Windows 10: Games keeps minimizing in the interval of 45 seconds , by a window that opens on its own...

Hello, i am here to address my issue that started since yesterday. I'll give a little context before if it has anything to do with the issue ... so yesterday i received a sound card/mixer with a mic combo from amazon , which my dad had ordered and was eagerly waiting to connect to our pc to test out and check if it was working properly or if he is satisfied with its result. The company stated that after connecting the soundcard/mixer to the pc, it will automatically install its required drivers and we are good to go. After a bit of tinkering and testing. games keeps minimizing windows 10. when I play a game in fullscreen mode it keeps minimizing every few seconds. it doesn't happened playing in windowed mode. im playing with xbox360 controller. happen after a recent windows 10 update. Ive also recently
installed a new videocard. how to fix?

 

Games keeps minimizing by themselves

Recently I keep having this annoying problem, that all games keep randomly minimizing themselves as if I pressed alt-tab and since some of them can't be minimized without freezing, it is very annoying.

My best guess is that some notification keeps poping up for a fraction of a second, which causes this effect, although I don't see anything. I may be completely wrong of course.

Things I have already tried:

• Switched off all notifications under "Notifications and actions" in general and specifically for each program
• Switched Focus assist to alarms only and activated it for games and times I use PC in
• Turned live tiles off for whole Start menu
• Switched Avast permanently to silent mod
• PC is set to desktop mod and switch to tablet mod is prohibited
• Just to be sure I checked Windows with SFC, no error found
• Downloaded latest update
• Checked whole system with Avast, Spybot and Malwarebytes, no issue found
• MS Office is not installed on my system.

What else can cause this unpredictable behavior? As you can see, I already did some googling.

Windows 10 minimizing any games automatically at random times

Hi,

When I downloaded windows ten, games that were full screen would always be minimized somewhat randomly. I was able to fix the problem for some of the games by setting them to windowed border less. But some of the older games do not have that option and whenever
I try to play them, they minimize every 45 seconds- two minutes. I hope this is solvable. I believe this has to do with the task manager.

P.S. I tried to enter the command key "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" as was suggested on another page that seemed to be similar to my problem, but it has not helped.
