Windows 10: Games Restarting Download after reboot/restart , Gamefile Directory is not identifying your...

Those of you who are experiencing the 0% Que are probably more furious on the server download speeds more then anything , I am here to put a quick solution into troubleshooting , My main drive is a NVME drive which is reserved for smaller downloads , OS etc, So after about several restarts on a new build I discovered that my directory through the Xbox app was on my NVME instead of my HDD, As chosen prior to download , Account > Setting > Specified path C- Instead of E. As for the instant wipes on reboot , that can be due to the Gaming Service Provider ie Steam/Xbox like an Apple Product

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

Thanks for your patient help and analysis, zbook. I'll step through some of your suggestions over the next few days - there's a lot to do and some look a bit hairy! That is, for a PC that is working sweetly right now...

One step I did try right away was to answer your question about whether my BIOS is up-to-date. I had no success at the AMI site but did get some info from this commercial site:

Random Restarts, No BSOD

Reboot and hit F8 to get into the Windows Diagnostic Settings before Windows boots. Turn off "Automatic Restart on System Failure." This way we can completely rule out BSODs. Sometimes a PC will BSOD but the PC will restart so quickly that the BSOD is not even rendered.
