Windows 10: Games started crushing to desktop / full reset / blue screen

Hello there,for several days my PC started shutting down games, it even reset several times when the game was running, and once I had a blue screen. There are problems with games from different publishers - I checked Fifa 22, Madden 23 and Baldurs Gate 3. The game runs for several minutes, and then it suddenly turns off. It seems to me that the problem started to appear after installing new nVidia drivers, but I'm not sure anymore - I installed drivers that previously worked fine and it's still the same though not every 10-15 mins, but every 15-25 mins. Screen goes blue / black on start of atitool

i tried 0.26 and the new beta but its the same... if i start atitool the screen immidiately goes blue or black and i have to reboot... the computer doesnt really hang but the screen seems to be lost.
any suggestions? i dont have any other programs running, i dont even want to OC my card i just want to have control over the fan speed, i have a x1800xt btw.
