The last few months, i have a problem with my laptop's graphics card. Before some months i was playing games without any problem with normal fps, but the last few months whenever I was playing games i had really low fps. For example when playing Fortnite with low settings i was getting lower than 60fps so I started to search for what is causing this problem. I found that none of my games is using my GPU and they use the integrated graphics of my CPU or sometimes they use both my GPU at about 10% and my integrated graphics at about 90%. At the time I am playing games my GPU's temperature is about 72°C or if I am not playing games it is about 40°C. I have forced all this games to use my GPU from the Nvidia control panel and from windows graphics settings, but nothing changes. What should i do?My laptop's specs:GPU: GTX 1050TiCPU: Intel Core I7 8750hRAM: 8gbOperating system: Windows 10 HomeManufacturer: Asus

:)

Is there a way to force a program to use a secondary GPU?

I have 2 GPU's (Nvidia GTX 970 and 1080) and I want to force a program to use the 1080 for certain programs/games. Going to Settings>System>Display>Graphics Settings should give me the option to switch GPU's. Unfortunately it does not list both of my GPU's
nor does it allow me to change to another one, only the default GPU is chosen (the 970). This is a desktop computer and I have tried the Nvidia control panel and UEFI settings without much luck. If I tried selecting a program to run on my 1080 (through the
Nvidia control panel), it would still run it on the 970. I have tried switching the GPU's around with not much luck there either. If I can suggest to Microsoft the option in the Graphics Settings to list both GPU's for selection, that would be great. Otherwise
I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

3. Force Xbox Game Bar and other Universal app to use NVIDIA GPU in dual GPU Laptop

Dear Microsoft Team,

Is it possible to run Xbox Game Bar or other (Windows 10) Universal app on NVIDIA GPU rather than on integrated Intel GPU? On the graphics setting, I only found Intel HD Graphics 3000 and I couldn't find my NVIDIA GPU (See attached image bellow).

My main goal is to use the screen/game recording feature which is unable due to GPU/hardware requirement. It says "Sorry, this PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements for recording clips. For more info, go to Xbox Game Bar settings." Is there any other
way?

Kind regards,

Force Nvidia instead of Onboard Intel GPU

I set everything in the the Nvidia Control Panel to force the system to use my Nvidia Geforce 850M GPU, since I noticed that it wasn't ever switching. I also set it to display on the screen what GPU the Physx engine is using, and it always uses the onboard Intel GPU. I also checked my system information, and the Nvidia card is listed as a render-only card. From what I've googled, that means that it isn't being fully utilized. Does anyone have information on this? My games seem fairly slow compared to what a couple of sites have said my card should be able to handle. For example, Arkham Knight has to run on low graphics for my FPS to be decent and not lag. I know I'm on a laptop, but my system specs should be able to handle more.
