Hey everyone,I’m having a frustrating issue with my Lenovo Legion gaming pc laptop. Ever since the recent Windows update, the audio keeps cutting out intermittently. This happens not only in games but also in other applications like music players and video calls. Laptop cuts audio when Alt-Tabbing

Audio Cutting out when in Games

For some reason whenever I am in games my audio will randomly cut out for a few seconds and then come right back. However, if I am listening to a youtube video or on a voice call with someone at the same time my game audio will cut out, but the audio from the video/call won't. I have tried updating drivers, messing in the properties of my headphones in sound settings, and even checking the HD Audio connection on my motherboard. This issue also only just started after I installed a new CPU and GPU into my machine, so I am thinking it's connected. Any suggestions?

I'm glad disabling the microphone in the "recording" tab helped! It suggests that there might be a conflict between the headset's audio output and its microphone input, causing the audio to cut out when both are active simultaneously.
