Windows 10: Gaming PC freezes at Windows 10 choose an option screen.

Hello,I have a Cyberpower PC that uses a Solid State Drive to boot Windows 10. The PC will try to boot up, and after about 20 minutes of this it will blue screen and reset itself. Then it will start windows automatic repair which will take me to the choose an option screen. The problem here is any option I select from this menu results in the screen freezing with a faded screen and it will just stay on this screen until I power off the pc. Does anyone know what the problem is? I already tried checking that the internal wires are connected, reset the cmos and checked ram with no luck. Thank you

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Screen freeze on some games

Thank you for your reply, appreciate the time taken by you in keeping us updated on the status of the issue.

Since the issue is still persists, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the game and check if this helps.

If this doesn't work, I suggest you to perform system restore to the previous point where it was working fine.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows + I key and click on Update and security.
  
• 
  Click on Recovery, and click on
  Restart under Advance startup.
  
• 
  In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click
  'Troubleshoot'.
  
• 
  Click, Advanced Options and then click on
  System Restore.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen suggestion to restore your PC to earlier point.
