Windows 10: Gaming Services & Microsoft Store keep crashing MSFS

Hey,that will be more a feedback than a question!Dear Microsoft Windows Gaming Services and/or Microsoft Store Team if any of those exist, your Gaming Services App crashes MSFS on a regular basis because it it has to be updated by the stupid Microsoft Store App while I'm running the game. I even have game mode on which might be the thing some people think would stop behavior like this, but it doesnt. I can not tell you enough how **** inconvenient this kind of software behavior is!Fix your garbage![moved from de-de]

Step 4: Reset the game from the Settings menu.

2. Select System.
3. Select Apps and features.
4. Find the game and click Advanced options.
5. Click Reset. You need to restart your computer to let the changes take effect.

MSFS 2020 CRASH WHEN START

There are several possible solutions to fix Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 crashes on startup. Here are some of them:

• Disable all non-Microsoft apps in the Start-up tab of the Task Manager and then try launching the game again. Or you can perform a clean boot to try to find out if there's any program interfering with the game: How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support
  
• Force stop the game and then reopen it to see if the crashes still occur.
  
• Reset or repair the app through Windows Settings.
  
• Ensure that the game is fully updated before loading it again after a crash.
  
• Increase the virtual memory of your PC to prevent crashes caused by memory usage.

Microsoft Service Blocking Games

What I meant by disabling Microsoft services was the following:

• Leaving "Hide Microsoft Services" unchecked, disable all services
  
• Check "Hide Microsoft Services", enable all services
  
• Un-check "Hide Microsoft Services", ensure most are still disabled (the ones that cannot be disabled were left enabled).
  

This solved the issue for both the games, and the display settings pane.

I have also tried a proper clean boot, disabling all non-MS services, and also disabling any MS services related to "Display", "Graphics", "XBox", and "Gaming" - this did not solve the issue.

Re-registering the settings app did not solve the issue.

Uninstalling the display driver with DDU and reinstalling with the latest AMD driver did not solve the issues.

Turning off non-MS services does not solve the issues (troubleshooting step 4).

Malwarebytes and Bitdefender premium both report no infections (step 7).

SFC and DISM report no issues (step 10).

New Local Admin account does not solve the issues (Step 17).

I am in the process of preparing the Repair Install, and will report back once complete.
