Windows 10: Gaming services won't install because of a language pack?!

I know that this doesn't belong as a question but I'm tired and can't find the feedback forums, seriously how is it that I've spent 2 hours trying to update this service and was about to go through the effort of a clean windows 10 install because I had tried every other solution on the net, and of all th

UP to today, searching, downloading and installing language pack is still time very consuming, very headack process! Ever MS make this process standard, easy available?

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are unable to download the English language pack.
I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to download the language pack.

• 
  Press Windows logo key + X key.
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Double click on Language.
  
• 
  Click on Add language.
  
• 
  Double Click on English language.
  
• 
  Click on options on right hand side of the English language pack.
  
• 
  Click on Download and install language pack.
