Windows 10: Gaming Services won't install

I purchased The Outer Worlds on the Microsoft Store about a month ago, and yesterday, I figured I would try to play it again, but every time that I attempt to start the game through the start menu, it redirects it to the "Gaming Services" page on the Microsoft Store. I also tried to load it through the Library tab on the store, as well as through searching for it, but it did the same thing each time. I figured that it needed to be installed or updated, so I did, however, every time I do, it doesn't install anything, even if it prompts me to select my PC. After it "installs" it each time, It prompts me to install it again after it finishes. I don't know what on earth is going on, and I'm kinda confused, since I just wanted to play, but nothing I've read has helped me thus far. Any help would be very much appreciated!

microsoft store games won`t play

when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

the splash screen appears then goes

I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
