  1. GamingServicesNet.exe & GamingServices.exe, why ALWAYS running?

Note that this question could fall in several of the listed categories, and I can't quite decide which one's best. So, it's here.

When I downloaded and installed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020from the official site, one of the things it installed was the "services" noted in the Subject. I use the top 3 A/V progs, plus the Windows A/V, and none of them find issues with it. As a result, I'm concluding that it's a Microsoft thing.

The problem, for me, is that these two executables provide NO info, none, about their origin and purposes, nor can I turn them off. When MSFS2020 quits, these things continue to run when the rest of MSFS quits.

I dislike progs that are not serving me, the user/builder of my PC. I build a fast, powerful machine, then progs that do nothing FOR me and cannot be disabled, removed or turned off continue to consume the system resources I paid for. How much/little it uses is irrelevant, Win10 already has other carp running that I can neither remove or turn off, and I find no ideas that actually work when I search for help.

So, anywho, I want to know what the titled subject executables are, what they do, who's responsible for 'em, why they remain in operation after my flight simulator is closed, and, most importantly, how I close 'em. Even better, all of the above AND how to set these things to end automagically. I have too much carp to close as it is, and those only start w/MSFS2020. They can go when FS does.

Any help and info will be appreciated.

    :)

  2. Gamingservices and Gamingservicesnet

The Xbox app can be uninstalled normally.

The second github link you posted doesn't say anything about gamingservices or gamingservicesnet.
