    Gap between program and taskbar when maximizing program


    Hi.Not sure if this is linked to a Windows update, but within the last 2 weeks I have started getting a gap between my taskbar and the programs I maximize. This has never been a problem before. See attached picture. Sometimes I can re-start the PC and it is gone but comes back at next re-start.Any suggestions?Thanks.

    Program Fails to Maximize After Minimizing to Taskbar!?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I haven't looked into this ÄutoHotKey" software as yet, but will do so later.

    Found another program which fails to maximize after minimizing for the second time! This time it is Hitpaw AI Video Enhancer v1.3.0.

    So this suggests that these two programs which fail to maximize (after minimizing for the second time) might be somehow incompatible with my system, or maybe both programs are bugged in some way, or maybe there is an issue with my system?

    Whatever the reason(s) for failing to maximize, I would like to have a resolution to this issue so that these (and any other similar) programs maximize normally when clicking on their taskbar icons.

    Further comments?

    How to start programs maximized

    I have a program that is not starting maximized.

    There is no setting in it to allow this.

    According to the creators of the program, there was a way to start programs maximized by pinning them to the Taskbar then changing settings in Properties. When I checked, I found no program on the Taskbar has a Properties to change settings in.

    Is there a way to start programs Maximized if they do not have settings within the program for this?

    Programs on taskbar won't maximize

    I've had this problem with a few programs for a while now. A program will be open on my taskbar yet when I try to maximize the window nothing happens. It's happened with notepad, settings, and chrome to name a few. I have already deleted and reinstalled
    my graphic driver to no avail, and I can barely find any help online. Can anyone help?
