Windows 10: Gateway DX4680 BIOS

    Gateway DX4680 BIOS


    I have a Gateway DX4680-UB32P with Serial # PTGCPP200313200BE86300.

    My current BIOS is P02-A1. It is running fine with a 2nd Gen Intel Processor.

    I want to upgrade the Processor to an Intel 3rd Gen.

    I installed a 3rd Gen CPU but when I boot it up it just beeps 4 time and stops.

    I must need to update the BIOS to get it to recognize the 3rd Gen CPU.

    Two BIOS updates are available: P03-A3 and P11-A3.

    I cannot get either one to install.

    When I attempt the windows install version, it reads the BIOS file up to 100% and then the program just exits.

    Anny sigestions?
