Windows 10: Gateway FHD2400 dispaly issue under windows 11

The other day I got new setup AMD Ryzen 5600 and Radeon 6650 XT. I setup Windows 11 on it, and it worked just fine for a couple of hours. Then, all of a sudden, the display broke completely see below. I search on the internet and tried various things:- install proper AMD Radeon drivers - didn't change anything- reinstall completely the OS from scratch - it was fine, even the nice graphical UI untill it broke with the same display issue as seen below on the step when one should sing-in to windows account.So, it SHOULD work it was working fine, steup is working fine to a point but for some

Gateway FHD2400 Monitor Problems

I have ran into a bit of an issue over the weekend which I have not been able to figure out. I have had several of my IT buddies try to figure it out, but we are obviously missing something. Over the weekend my Gateway FHD2400 stopped receiving hdmi signal right in the middle of gaming. My first thought was the monitor had gone out. The first thing I did was change cables with no good result. My second step was to take the Monitor over to my xbox 360 and hooked the hdmi up and the image popped up on the monitor perfectly. After that I took my laptop over to my bigscreen and plugged it into the hdmi and the image came up perfectly there. At that point I thought maybe its an issue with the drivers so I reinstalled those as well with no positive outcomes. My next step was to insure that there were no other processes affecting the machine so i wiped the OS and started from scratch which had no positive results. I can put a VGA cable from the laptop to the monitor and the image comes up like it is supposed to but DVI and HDMI the monitor just states no signal even thought the computer is picking up the monitor and shows it in my settings.

Any thoughts....

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Optical Drive Issue

Assuming I did the steps correctly, this is where I am now.

Screenshot 12 shows my CD Disc shortcut on my desktop.
Screenshot 10 shows the CD Drive shortcut listed in the “Send to” listing.
Screenshot 11 shows the “Send to” listing after the steps were taken, but the CD drive name is not listed.

So, it appears the steps did not work for me. And, I did try the steps, “If it still won’t do ……” and still no luck.

What do you think?
