Windows 10: GDI+ Drawing Issues with Arcs From Windows Security Update Win10 KB4579311

Something within new GraphicsPathpoints,types changed causing issues drawing. We found that if the first point is a bezier curve, it fails to continue drawing.


It was working in:


Windows 10 Version 2004 KB4566782 Build 19041.450


It stopped working in:


Windows 10 Version 2004 KB4579311 Build 19041.572


I made a ticket with the developer community forum with a test project and screen shots. John Qaio confirmed the issue is with Windows Security Update

KB4579311, was given a work around, and I was told to post the issue here.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

GDI+ Window Computer Freeze

"Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

I'm running latest Win10 update. Earlier ran Win7, never ran Win8.

Running McAfee Total Protection & maintain with Iolo System Mechanic

PC freezes 3 to 4 times a week requiring power off, then power up & invariably another forced re-start. Often at shutdowns get msg that GDI+ is preventing shutdown.
