Windows 10: General Game installation issues

There's a few games that just won't download, install, or play. I'm not sure how many more games that are like these out there for me, but here are some of the known issues I face with my computer right now.I can play Minecraft Bedrock, but not Minecraft Java. Bedrock loads up just fine, but any time I go to try Java, nothing seems to happen.The Elder Scrolls Online simply doesn't seem to want to install. As of 7/23/2023 , Epic is promoting it under the "free games" and I decided I wanted to give it a shot. It seems to install from the epic launcher, then when i go to "play it" it says its "

• What do you mean by “it just to big to appear on the screan”?
• Is this issue specific only with Glory of Generals game?

I suggest you to install the Glory of Generals game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

1. Right-click on the setup file of the game and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

4. Let the game run and then check the functionality.

I suggest you to right click on the game and try to run as administrator and check.

Step 2: if that doesn't help I suggest you to install game in compatibility mode and check:

Follow the steps below on how to install game in compatibility mode:

1. Download the game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the game and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the game install and then check the functionality.

Sorry to here that you are facing issue.

I would suggest you to perform following steps if u haven't yet.

*Find game's .exe file.

2. Right click that exe file and find Properties,

3. In General tab, Hidden and Read Only boxes mus be un-checked,

4.In Compatibility tab, enable compatibility mode and select the Windows version that matches the game's listed recommended specifications,

5. Then in Compatibility tab, enable Run this program as an Administrator,

6. Finally in Security tab, select your user ID and ensure all privileges are set to Allow.
