Windows 10: General Info about Pen Drive Use After Media Creation Tool Setup

So I recently used the Media Creation Tool 1803 to create a Clean Windows Installation Drive in my Pen drive. At the end, it formatted my pen drive and put all the necessary files; no problems here.


Now there is a lot of free space in my pen drive, so my question is: Can I use it (without creating any installation problems in the future) or is that free space completely gone (and the only way to use it would be to format/delete the drive/files respectively)? If yes, then can I put all the windows installation related files in a new folder (Let's see, renaming it "Windows Installation Files") and will my computer still be able to read that when I try to install Windows from the BIOS?

Your USB thumb drive needs to be at least 8 GBs.

(solved) Media Creation Tool Windows 10 "Setup couldn't start properly..."

Hello,

I was trying to get Windows 10 on my USB drive using Media Creation Tool and got to the step after I have to choose the USB drive, but then my PC crashed with a BSOD. After I got back into Windows 7 again I checked the minidump file and it said "ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY",
that's all I can remember about it. Then I tried to use Media Creation Tool again but a message box appeared saying "Setup couldn’t start properly, Please reboot your PC and try running Windows 10 Setup again."

I found posts about similar problems here and elsewhere but none of then helped me.

Also is there a way to get the Windows 10 ISO without using Media Creation Tool?

If anyone can help that would be fantastic!
