Windows 10: generic bluetooth driver has a driver problem not fixed

" I receive this message when trying to connect a Tevion bluetooth adapter to my laptop. I have tried Windows update, and used the troubleshooters without success - can you help? "This is a repeat of an earlier issue which was logged by JohnAndrewYZ and I didn't find the answer here but found one myself so sharing for future usersThe provided shipped with premium "BlueSoleil" software for drivers, however the cost of upgrade/ replacement more than the dongle! It was some kind of mini disc but I cannot find the original software. I saw other people had frustrations dealing with this compan

I suggest you to download latest Bluetooth driver from your device manufacturer's website and install it.

Bluetooth Generic driver not found for ZEXMTE dongle

I'm an Independent Advisor and consumer of Microsoft products just like you. Let me help you with your concern.

Follow the instructions as suggested from the below link.

1. Right click Start button then click " Device manager".

2. Click on the small arrow next to either "Bluetooth" or "Universal Serial Bus controllers"

3. Right click on "CSR" and select Update Driver

4. Select" Browse my computer for driver update"

5. Select on bottom :Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my Computer"

6. Select "Generic bluetooth Driver"

Issue will be fixed and you will be able to use your Bluetooth now with no other problems.

Windows Generic Bluetooth Adapter

Try the following. I had the same issue. However each time I update my computer with a new insider update I have to repeat these steps.

• In the search type" Device manager" and open it.
• Click on the smal arrow next to either "Bluetooth" or "Universal Serial Bus controllers"
• Right click on "CSR" and select Update Driver
• Select" Browse my computer for driver update"
• Select on bottom :Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my Computer"
• Select "Generic bluetooth Driver"

This will fix it and you will be able to use your Bluetooth now with no other problems.
