Windows 10: geolocation services

Discus and support geolocation services in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Why would I want to have geolocation services running on my pc? I turn it off and it turns itself back on again.???... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Customization' started by KrisMaro, Sep 4, 2018.

    Geolocation Services

    Hi Paola,

    I have tried that. The Change button does not work. The Geolocation services is disabled in Services.MSC. and cannot be restarted.

    Geolocation Service fails to start

    Hi,

    I have a problem that whenever i start Windows 10 it fails to load the Geolocation service fails to starts. i try to enable it through settings, privacy and then to location to enable it. It failed. Then i opened the "SERVICES" from the search and tried
    to open the geolocation Service to enable. I found it is disabled. i tried to start is But it is showing that "The file specified id not found". Later when i opened the settings, this time it shows that is is enable. Help me And what is the reason?

    can't start the Geolocation service on Windows 10

    Have you updated all the drivers.?

    Navigate to path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lfsvc\TriggerInfo\"

    Delete all the folders under this triggerinfo folder.

    And check for the Geolocation service in services and start the service if not started.

    And check the dependencies of the Geolocation service and start them also.
