Windows 10: get a black gliched screen when turn dell laptop on or when using HDMI and switch between...

this is how it looks like.my laptop boots normally and works normally after this screen, but it concerns me. every time I turn my laptop on this will show up. formerly it was the Dell logo on the screen. this happens when I connect the laptop to other monitors with HDMI as well. when I switch between different project views the screen goes black like in the picture above. Also if I push my mouse to the top of my screen, I can see a little bit of my mouse cursor moving.My laptop: Dell G3 15intel core i7 H series 10genNvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Ti8GB ramI updated the Windows and installed the lates

Toshiba Laptop Black Screen

I have a Toshiba Laptop, Was reinstalling windows 7 on it last night left it doing the updates then shut it down. Turned it on this this afternoon only to find the laptop screen is Black and also there is a burning smell coming from the Fan.

I connected the Laptop to a external monitor that is fine, Can go into bios, Windows boots up fine Etc.
Just took apart the laptop earlier to check all the cables where in correctly, Checked the motherboard over for any damage, burnt bits but but found nothing. Just put it back together now but im still getting this burning smell and i still cant use the laptop screen only a external screen.

I Tried Pressing FN+F5 to switch to the laptop screen, But still black screen. Any Suggestions please ?

Why did my laptop screen turned black after I plugged in hdmi?

I am using Lenovo Ideapad windows 11. I connected my laptop in a hdmi and Second screen only, yet when I tried to switch on duplicate, my laptop screen is not working (still black screen) anymore, I panicked and unplug the hdmi in hopes for it to go back to normal but it didn't. Yet when I plugged the hdmi back, the second screen works but my laptop screen doesn't.

1. Can the current PC see the BIOS icon when it is first started? If so, we can try to solve this problem from other dimensions.
   
2. Assuming that the current device cannot see the BIOS interface icon, the cause of the problem may be the corruption of the BIOS /hardware damage of the CPU & GPU/failure of the cable connection of the display screen.
   
3. If it is convenient, please check whether the current notebook has an HDMI interface. If there is an HDMI interface, you can try to connect an external monitor and see if the screen can be output. Please note that if the picture is output normally, it usually represents the hardware of your CPU/GPU works normally, you may need to consider replacing the laptop screen at this time to solve the problem.
   

Here are some steps that might help you check for a black screen:

1. Check the power source: Ensure that your laptop is properly connected to a power source. If you were using the laptop on battery power, connect it to the charger and make sure the charger is working correctly.
   
2. Disconnect external devices: Remove any external devices such as USB drives, printers, or external monitors from your laptop. Sometimes, faulty external devices can cause issues with the startup process.
   
3. Perform a hard reset: To perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
   
   a. Disconnect the power adapter from the laptop.
