Windows 10: "Get an app to open this windows defender link" prompt in Windows 11 [Resolved]

Hey,My PC was not able to open Windows Security App. I tried various methods to resolve this issue, but FAILED to resolve. Those methods were:1. Reset the Windows Security App and tapped the repair button.2. Written commands on PowerShell as Administrator. Those were:i Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers Reset-AppxPackageii Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml”}3. Tried Windows Store Troubleshooter4. Checked for any corrupted files but there wasn't any5. Checked for any pending updates6.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Defender wont open!

I have the same problem since i went to windows 11

 

Windows Defender wont open!

My OS is Windows 11 Home, Version 21H2

When I click on "Settings>Privacy & security>Windows Security>Open Windows Security" It won't open and prompts a dialogue box "You'll need a new app to open windowsdefender link" and suggests looking for an app in Microsoft store. But Microsoft store says no app found for "windowsdefender"

the words windows and defender are written as a single word.

And the same happens If I click on any of the 7 links in the list on the left side. Pl help, thanks
